This book is based on Norway's former Prime Minister Einar Gerhardsen's legendary book Tillitsmannen - en håndbok for tillitsvalgte. The book was first published in 1931, and was primarily intended as a tool for union representatives in the many organizational units of the Norwegian labor movement. It is just as important for today's representatives to know the required rules for the well-functioning of their organizations.This English version is a translation of the 9th Norwegian edition, which was revised by Truls Gerhardsen in order to better serve current organizational needs.
